(Y'all better actually RP. I didn't copy and paste all of this for nothing.)
「 It's been years or so since Reimu Hakurei, a mere human Shrine Maiden forcefully visited the Youkai Mountain. Although bitter, Kagiyama Hina was not surprised or shocked by her loss. The human race in Gensokyo still have their heroes' powers from centuries ago.
"I wonder how the shrine maiden in red is doing," the goddess thought. "Has luck been treating her kindly? A strong human deserves all the good fortune."
She drifts through the Great Youkai Forest aimlessly, watching for any lost humans. It's her duty to scare them off, with or without force. Only humans who can defeat her- like Reimu Hakurei- are allowed to pass onto the Youkai Forest. Sadly, in all those empty years, no humans have come to try and pass through her again. During one of her rare visit to the Hakurei Shrine, she met Marisa Kirisame, an 'ordinary' witch by day, but a pesky thief by night. Although Reimu did make Hina recognize Marisa's magical abilities, the two never faced in a real duel.
How many hours have she been flying? Boredom has completely made Hina lost track of time. It felt like a decade. Nothing eventful has happened for so long. The goddess of misfortune reaches her hand out, waiting for a leaf to fall into her grasp.
A broken, tattered leaf falls onto her hands.
"Oh," Hina chuckles. "It appears my luck just haven't been good. Perhaps I just haven't been passing on misfortune to gods as much as I should!" she grins widely. "Which poor deity should be my target?"
Just as she began to let ominous thoughts run through her mind, her surroundings began to shake. Leaves began to fall even more violently than usual, branches are breaking apart, the trees are swaying left to right. One broken branch even hit Hina on the head, causing the deity to grunt in irritation. "An earthquake..." she grumbles. "A disaster. Looks like Gensokyo's luck is low in general. Even mine." Maybe she has been slacking on her duty. What's going on?
"Well, well," a honeyed laughter greets the goddess of misfortune. "Kagiyama Hina."
That voice, Hina recognizes immediately. "Yukari Yakumo, the youkai of boundary. What have you done?" the lesser deity questions. Although the deity knows she shouldn't try to provoke Yukari by being hostile, it's hard not to be. Yukari is hardly a trustworthy individual.
The youkai shows herself from an eye-shaped portal. "That earthquake isn't just a natural disaster."
"How surprising," Hina replies dryly. "So, what have you done?"
"It's not what I have done. If anything, it's partially your fault such a disaster befalls Gensokyo," Yukari answers in a reprimanding tone. "You haven't been taking misfortune and stockpiling them as much as you should. So there it is- the Great Hakurei Barrier is broken, and now youkais are free to leave and enter the Outside World."
Hina's eyes widen. "It's not my fault I'm unaware something like this will happen if I work a little less!" the goddess of misfortune argues. "You could have warned me!"
Yukari laughs. "You should know your duty, Kagiyama Hina... I wonder what will happen to the unaware outside the barrier, now? I can only imagine the human race being driven to extinction..."
Hina grimaces in response. The smug tone Yukari constantly speaks with is aggravating. "I don't think Reimu and Marisa would let that happen," the goddess argues. "You're a powerful youkai, why not solve the issue yourself? Or better yet, let Reimu and Marisa do it. They'd know how to safely interact with the outside world human."
"Non non non," Yukari shakes her head. "As it is partially your fault, it shall be you who go find the culprit behind the destruction of the Great Hakurei Barrier..."
"Me? Stop speaking in jest already."
The boundary demon laughs. "But I am not, despise my humorous personality! It is partially your fault, so go find the culprit as I said earlier... I even told Reimu and Marisa to stay put specifically for this investigation."
Hina's eyes narrow. "You're serious. You literally can't be thinking a lesser goddess like me could possibly find the culprit, but here you are."
"Logic goes beyond boundaries, Hina," Yukari unfolds her fan. "Why are you refusing to go on the investigation? You feel guilt in your heart. Your beloved Gensokyo will be at war with the outside world. Blood will be spilled, and while the killings won't be done by you- you started it all."
Although Hina knows Yukari is manipulating her, the boundary demon's coercion is perfect. The guilt in Hina's heart weighs even harder. She has no choice but to accept Yukari's forced request. She can't live with this foreboding feeling of doom in her heart. At last, the goddess nods. "Fine... I shall find the culprit. I'll leave through the Hakurei Gate at once."
Yukari raises her index and middle fingers. "Good!" she smiles, albeit smugly. "It is great to know you truly care about our land. Please head to the shrine, and leave through the gate at once."
Wanting to escape Yukari's scornful smile at once, Hina flies out of the Great Youkai Forest, heading straight for the Hakurei Shrine. Before she flies through the gate, the goddess of misfortune observes the shrine maiden and the witch. It seems they're following Yukari's orders- it's rare to see those two obedient, but not even Hina could withstand Yukari's manipulating words. No surprise there.
The goddess lands by the shrine maiden and the witch who are conversing with each others.
"I can't believe we agreed to stay put-" Marisa's complaint in the middle of the conversation was interrupted by the sound of Hina's landing. "... Oh, Hina. So you're the one Yukari chose for this, huh?"
Reimu shrugs. "Can't believe it. Hina wasn't that strong..."
Hina raises her eyebrows. "Save it. Just because you could dodge all my projectiles doesn't mean you're stronger." It's a well-known fact Reimu, despise her quick-to-anger personality, seems to always offend others by complete accidents sometimes.
"Oh?! But I defeated you."
The witch yawns. "Oi, oi. Fight later. Hina's gotta go before Yukari comes and beat us up with a folding fan..." the blonde witch twirls her broom. "Seriously, I wish I could go see the Outside World instead, but looks like it's gotta be Hina."
"Yeah..." Reimu laments. "I'd love to see how the Outside World is, too."
Hina nods. "I don't want to go, but I have to." The goddess levitates into the air.
"Bon voyage," Marisa wishes Hina well. "Seriously, tell us how it is out there!"
The shrine maiden waves, no further words for the goddess of misfortune. No replies came from Hina either. The goddess wants to get her forced mission done and over with already. With haste, Hina flies through the gate. 」

Having just become a "made man", otherwise known as a member of the Mafia, Vito Scaleta cruises down a busy highway in his Ascot Bailey S200. Looking at his rear view mirror, he notices that there's a rather rowdy trio of young people clad in leather jackets in a convertible right behind him. Kids these days, he thought. Vito sees his exit and switches lanes, but not before noticing the greasers begin to tailgate him. "Oh you guys are asking for it.." He mumbles, driving through the exit and parks in the nearest parking lot, next to a supermarket.
The greasers followed suit, slamming the car doors closed. "Well well, if it isn't Mr. Spicy Meatball." One of them said. Vito sighs, replying with a simple "Who?", and he hops out of his car. One of the greasers snorts. "We know you and your friends were the ones who shot up our bar. You remember the one, the Crazy Horse? You even set it on fire, you fucker." Scaletta raises an eyebrow, faking confusion. "Look, I don't really remember much from a few days back. I stayed with a pal of mine, had a few drinks, maybe some.. company." He coughs. "But from what I remember, you fellas were the ones who thought shooting at some guys selling smokes was a good idea?" Said greasers widened their eyes, having begun to think that they have the wrong person. "W-well.. it was.. nevermind, uh, have a good day..?" They then awkwardly turn around, whistling. "Hey, you forgot something." Vito said as one of the leather clad brigands turned to face a closed fist hurled at his face, collapsing with a tooth falling out and a cracked lip. "Your hospital bill." He says, charging up to the other two gang members. The one to his right pulled out a switchblade while the one to his left held up his fists. I'd prefer something a bit more fair, he thinks. Vito ducks under a sloppy jab and counters with an uppercut to the kid's jaw. As this happened, the greaser with the blade slowly advanced, worried that the Italian would have something up his sleeve. Vito quickly cuts in with a swing to the side of the first one's head, knocking the fragile little cranium into the ground. Looking up at the kid with the switchblade, Vito chuckles. "Might as well give up, h-" He's interrupted by the weapon slashing through the air in front of him. "Okay, you know what? Fuck you." Scaletta grumbles, whipping out an M1911 and empties 3 rounds into the would-be-winner.
"If you won't be fair, I won't be, either." He says, having dumped the bodies into the car. "Where was I going again? Oh, right.. to Joe's." As he gets into the car, his expression changes from a triumphant one to a nauseous one. The buildings around him seemed to swirl and stretch, and the road infinitely expanded. "What the..?" Are his last words before the world around him went black.
