A figure approached in the distance, it was the boy who had seemed so panicked at the beginning, smiling mischievously as the vegetation advanced.

"Hey, it's that crying kid!" Apex shouted, taking aim, "Time to take him out."
(I work poorly under time constraint, gtg somewhere now)

"That's him...I wonder what must have happened in order for that smile to happen..." I take a step back, and look disturbed suddenly, all amazement at the man-eating plants gone and replaced with dread, shaking. "W-we should run, I dont think we can take him!"

"If you haven't noticed, I've BEEN running! Start shooting at him if you want to live!" Apex shouted, taking aim.
Mistle
"Now, there's no need for that kind of violence, but if you insist..." he said. A wall of plant life formed in front of him, as a shield. The vines grew throny, and much more aggressive-looking.

So this is what we're fighting? Seems like a lot more hostile than the monsters back home...
Yuri looks up in awe, clutching her Gun and her Sword.

"We need to get out of here now...!" She pulled the angel into her arms. "Hold on tightly now!" She said before dashing off with the amount of speed she had. She wasn't like sonic fast but she was a lot faster than average people.

"Ok-eeeeeeeek!" I scream from the unexpected burst of speed, shutting my eyes shut from Mistle and trying to get the image out of my head. "T-thank you Bunna but what will happen to that one guy with the gun?" I say, remembering that we just left him.

"That's just cowardly! All of you!" he shouts, but also runs after taking a few useless shots at the vegetation shield.
Mistle
Plants all around were becoming affected, not yet following commands, but twitching slightly and growing. This would truly be an easy arena. Mistle laughed, as a madman.

Yuri hides behind the tree, ignoring the consequences of leaving a trail straight to her.
"Maybe this will be good for now." She thought out loud.

He takes aim and fires, firing a bullet into the mass of the plant, and when the bullet hits, it explodes, a fire starting to spread across the plant mass, with unnatural speed, size, and heat. "It seems that he increases by corrupting the plants around him or something of the sort, best to end him before he can begin."

He takes cover behind a brick wall.
Mistle
"Hey, knock it off!" shouts Mistle, allowing the plants to collapse and fall back. This leaves a wall of fire between Mistle and everyone else. Behind this wall, Mistle begins to retreat, but leaving some aggressive plants as sentries.

"Hmph, retreating are we?" He fires some more shots in seperate locations, causing an explosion of fire that sets the trees on fire, which spreads unnaturally, the forest starting to be caught in a blaze. "Now the fire will help me by herding them back into the city, and will destroy much of his resources to grow bigger." He stands up and walks out of the building he's in to start hunting, his sniper rifle glowing and dissapearing.

"Bunna, fires are starting in the forest!" I look back at Apex running away, and catch a glimpse Yuri running, before explosions can be heard and smoke rises, the smell of burning wood in the air.

"This is getting intense now...We need to head back to the town right way." She stopped herself from running in the one direction, skidding just a little before taking off in the direction where the town is. "The fire is definitely going to spread sooner or later to the towns...Dammit why did it have to be a forest like place for an arena!?"

"I think its best if we block up the entrances and stuff. Maybe perhaps the windows too. Who knows when we'll be hit with a bullet again?" She goes over to the windows and begins blocking them off.
