the original elite was fucking great man. it was from like the early 80s and was mostly procedurally generated, contained 8 unique galaxies with 256 planets each on video-game-crash-level tech, and had actual vector graphics long before the invention of the snes's super FX chip

Okay, it's actually pretty cool that for once somebody knows the video game I'm referencing, the original elite WAS BADASS--I just wasn't alive back then. I made it all into one model, and I had it perfect--then the textures randomly stopped working. More blender-unity fun shall ensue!
